August 1st kicked off the open period for football programs to extend official scholarship offers to 2021 recruits. Each school puts their own spin on it but Michigan set themselves apart with the inclusion of “Medical Assurance” for some of their offered prospects. They also sent an offer to a big-time name committed elsewhere.
