Inside the Fish Bowl: Quick Khalid Kareem Update

I touched on this in the last Inside the Fish Bowl, but the rumors of Alabama commit & Farmington Hills Harrison (MI) DE Khalid Kareem possibly flipping his commitment and staying close to home have been running rampant.

The Michigan Insider’s Sam Webb, Scout’s Allen Trieu and The Wolverine crew are all hearing very positive things about Kareem’s possible flip so I did myself a little digging. And BOOM, I may have struck oil.

I spoke with a source that is very close to the situation and when the topic was brought up, though they did not say anything definitive, they did hint at the likeliness that Michigan flips the Alabama commit and keeps him close to home.

That was all I needed to hear.

With this tidbit of information, as well as the mix of the Michigan insiders hearing the same thing, expect Kareem to be included in my next 2016 Best Guess Recruiting Class.
