Michigan is still looking for that game breaking offensive weapon for the 2016 class and they may have found it in their latest offered running back recruit, Daevon Vigilant (Downey, CA/Downey).
I spoke with Daevon about his latest offer and what it means for his recruitment moving forward.
“Coach Drevno stopped by my school to see but I didn’t think they would’ve offered me”, he said. With only six offers before Drevno stopped by, Vigilant looks like a definite candidate to blow up on the recruiting trail over the summer.
And Michigan looks to have gotten in at the perfect time.
He said the Michigan offer was his “biggest” offer yet and that he’ll be officially visiting Ann Arbor this fall. And with the staff looking to add a speed running back, they look to have a very good chance at landing Vigilant when he decides to pull the trigger.
