In “I didn’t see that one coming” news, the star addition to Michigan’s 2016 basketball recruiting class reportedly decided to open up his recruitment and de-commit from the Wolverines.
Tyus Battle is taking an official visit to Syracuse this weekend & opening up his recruitment, per sources. Committed to Michigan in May.

Daniels was the first to break the story but it has yet to be confirmed 100% by Tyus himself, who’s Twitter picture is him in a Michigan jersey still. However, it looks like it’s just a matter of time until he’ll be donning a different jersey:
Would be more surprised if Tyus Battle doesn't commit to Syracuse by weekend's end than if he does commit.

From all reports, it looks like he has indeed decommitted. However, I don’t believe Michigan is out of this one. He may have just wanted to take more visits and wanted to give the Wolverines staff a chance to recruit for that spot just in case he does go elsewhere.
