Recruits Reacting to the Harbaugh Offer

The rumored offered on the table between the University of Michigan and Jim Harbaugh has the sports world going crazy. And now that the offer has been reported nationally, the recruits across the country are chiming in on what it would mean for Michigan.

At the Michigan All-State Dream Team banquet, quarterback commit Alex Malzone spoke with Mark Snyder about the possibility of Harbaugh and what it would mean for recruits he\’s been in contact with:

\”Obviously they\’re going to ask me who I think it is and a couple candidates, and a lot of guys have expressed interest if it is Jim Harbaugh — or whoever it is can spike up their interest,\” Malzone said Wednesday night at the Detroit Free Press/National Football Foundation All-State Dream Team banquet. \”Guys that were recently committed and other national guys who haven\’t visited they would definitely have interest in Michigan, depending on who they brought in.\”

It\’s known that a Harbaugh hire would be great on the recruiting trail but to hear it from the un-official leader of the 2015 Michigan recruiting class makes it even more exciting.

Malzone wasn\’t the only Michigan commit who chimed in on the possibility of Harbaugh. Safety  commit Tyree Kinnel tweeted a response to former commit Chris Clark who is also on the Harbaugh bandwagon:

Really hope coach harbaugh takes the michigan job

Outside of the current/former recruits, two big time 2016 offensive lineman, who happen to hold Michigan offers, tweeted about the news of the offer:

I don\’t think anyone could turn down that offer #michiganfootball

The Michigan fan base and recruiting targets are all in the same holding period. But the possibility of Harbaugh returning to Ann Arbor is clearly going to excite a lot of people.
