The Michigan coaching staff is looking to add athleticism to this roster and they’re looking all over North America to do so. However, they have one of the most athletic players in the region right in their own backyard. And it looks like they now know that as the staff has invited Detroit King (MI) ATH Armani Posey to the UNLV game this Saturday:

Posey spoke with MichiganPreps Brandon Hunter about his recruitment and said that he will be visiting Ann Arbor this weekend ($):
Erick Campbell invited me to come, and he said the defense coaches said get me up here,”
While Posey only holds one offer at the moment (from Davenport in the NAIA), he’s a name to watch closely especially with the staff is looking at him on defense as he could play outside linebacker or safety.
The Detroit King standout looks to be a D1 player on film and from all scouting reports, he’s top level material. So what’s the issue? That’s unknown but expect more offers to come. If not and Michigan doesn’t have room to offer, I wouldn’t be shocked to see coaching staff do everything in their power to bring him in as a preferred walk-on or a possible grayshirt.
