Now What?: Walker Decommits from Ohio State

By now, everyone knows about De Paul (NJ) RB Kareem Walker‘s public decommitment from Ohio State. If not, here you go:

Readers on this site have known about this expecting to happen for weeks now after my OSU source let me know that they were “99.999%” sure Walker would be decommitting after taking an official visit to Michigan and the OSU staff going “all in” on flipping former Wisconsin RB Antonio Williams.

Well, both of those things are now true.

As for the other part of Michigan becoming the favorites for Walker, they still are still “feeling the same as (they) initially (were)”. If you don’t remember that feeling, they were “willing to bet money” he ends up a Wolverine.

Though Walker is expected to take his other official visits, all signs point to Michigan here. Crazier things have happened in recruiting but, for now, it looks like it would take a big change of heart to see the top running back in the country not sign with Michigan.
