Notable Appalachian State Game Recruiting Visitors

Finally! The 2014 Michigan football season is upon us and the coaching staff is not only getting ready to host the Appalachian State Mountaineers but they are also getting ready to host 4 of the top in-state prospects in the 2016 class. Those players are:

2016 RB Matt Falcon

Falcon is, IMO, the best running back in the state and happens to be apart of a family full of Wolverine fans. With the way he looked during his preseason scrimmages, I believe Michigan will offer him and will jump to the top of his list. He will likely be included in my September version of the 2016 Best Guess Recruiting Class

2016 DE Khalid Kareem

Farmington Hills Harrison 2016 DE Khalid Kareem is visiting the University of Michigan on Saturday. http://t.co/XPy2CVN23H — The D Zone (@TheD_Zone) August 27, 2014

Another in-state star that has high interest in Michigan. Kareem is very raw but has the measurables that coaches are looking for in a pass rushing defensive end. If he gets off to a hot start this season, he\’s another candidate to receive an offer and have the Wolverines very high on his list.

2016 LB David Reese

2016 Farmington (Mich.) three-star LB David Reese will also be visiting #Michigan this Saturday for the home opener: http://t.co/bkpmJ4dkTs

Looking for another 2016 in-state star that\’s high on the Wolverines? Here you go. Reese is a stout MIKE linebacker that fits Mattison\’s defense very well. Like the other visitors, he\’s a recruit that will likely receive an offer with a great junior season.

2016 CB Lavert Hill

2016 CB Lavert Hill will return to #Michigan again this weekend for #AppState. 4th visit in a month (FREE): http://t.co/cuCGRMlHHK — Steve Lorenz (@TremendousUM) August 25, 2014

Brother of Michigan safety Delano Hill, Lavert is one of the most touted recruits in the state, region and country. He reminds me a ton of Jourdan Lewis but could end up being even better. This will be his 4th visit in just over a month and it looks like the Wolverines are the favorites here.

2017 WR Donovan Peoples-Jones

The top player in the state for 2017 will also be visiting on Saturday, which is always big news. He is a dynamic talent and will likely receive an offer after a hot start to his sophomore season. If so, Michigan should be near the top of his list very early on.
