New Michigan Man: Walk-On DE Jack Dunaway

Michigan has landed their first preferred walk-on commitment for the 2015 class and it comes from Brother Rice defensive end Jack Dunaway.

The son of former Michigan tight end Craig Dunaway, Jack is a talented prospect that features that motor, will and heart that every coach wants on their roster.

While not ranked by the top recruiting sites, Dunaway reminds me of one of those players that, with some strength training and more coaching, will be a player to keep an eye on as a spark plug and depth guy on the practice field and on game day.

Highlights

As for the Rest of the Class

As a preferred walk-on, Dunaway does not cost a scholarship so the class still has around 6 spots left. One target that could possibly join the class in the near future could be Dunaway and QB commit Alex Malzone\’s teammate, WR Grant Perry. He has yet to earn an offer but I feel like his early senior tape should earn him one soon, which would bring a quick decision. Other top targets to keep an eye on will be CB Marcus Lewis, TE Tyrone Wheatley Jr, LB Osa Masina, LB Asmar Bilal, WR Auden Tate (FSU commit( CB Mook Reynolds (VT commit) and CB Javarius Davis (UNC commit).
