New Michigan Man!: 4* CB Gareon Conley

And the Hoke-A-Mania train keeps rolling as Team 134 has picked up its 15th commitment 4 star CB Gareon Conley, from Massillon HS in Ohio!

As probably the most underrated player in Ohio and one of the most underrated players in the country, Gareon Conley is a tall and lanky (6\’2\’\’ 170lbs) cornerback who can cover with the best of them and make amazing plays on the ball.

Scouts Take:

\”Conley has great length for a corner. He runs, changes directions and shows the fluidity to play the position even though he\’s a little taller than average. He has outstanding instincts and gets the jump on routes because of his timing and anticipation. Shows comfort in both man and zone schemes. Has good ball skills and height helps him with taller receivers. Needs to get stronger, but is a solid, aggressive tackler. – Allen Trieu\”

As for the Rest of the Class:

This should be the last defensive back for this class, outside of an elite prospect like 5* CB Kendall Fuller and/or 5* S Sua Cravens. Also, this makes 15 for the class of what should be 22-24 prospects. With that being said, I imagine the final prospects to be one or two RBs, two more WRs, possibly a TE, two more D-Lineman and 2 more LBs.

Rankings:

Scout (4*, #20 CB) – Rivals (NR) – ESPN (NR) – 247 (3*, 88 overall)

(Scout is the latest to do the rankings, so expect to see him jump up when the ESPN rankings are up and the Rivals and 247 rankings are updated.)
