While the 2016 class was thought to be done at the running back position, barring any decommitments, the staff is continuing to recruit tailbacks as offered RB Rakeem Boyd let Scout’s Ahmard Vital that Michigan is still very high on his list ($).

However, Boyd may not be the only running back still on the board as one of New Jersey’s top backs, Yajaha Banks, has transferred from Immaculata to the most popular Michigan pipeline school outside of the state, Paramus Catholic, for his senior season.

If Banks has a big senior year, I wouldn’t be shocked to see the staff really start to show interest. He has the ability to play corner as well, so they could target him as more of an athlete than just a running back. Either way, keep a close eye on his name going forward.
