Mike Weber Decommits from Michigan

In one of the most perfectly timed tweets (in a bad way), Cass Tech stud RB Mike Weber decommitted from Michigan at the exact same time Maryland took the lead in the 4th quarter of today\’s loss. It was almost impressive.

I\’m decommiting from the university of Michigan thank you Michigan for the love and support I\’ll remake my decision at the army bowl

Losing Weber is a big, big loss as he is one of the best players in the Midwest and state. He also is the 7th (yes, seventh) 2015 Top150 recruit to decommit from Michigan. It\’s been a roller coaster of a recruiting year, to say the least.

Mike Weber said recently he was wanting to take all his officials. I\’d expect a couple of those to be warm, #USC, #Miami maybe.

In losing Weber, Michigan loses it\’s only running back in the class and loses the edge it may have had to land Oak Park athlete John Kelly, who is very close with Weber. And with MSU looking like a legit threat for both, it could end up being an even bigger loss. However, if the new coach is hired quickly, they will have time to bring Weber back on board to try and save this class as much as possible.
