I included Flanagan high school on the list of Michigan’s next possible pipeline schools and it looks like I was right about that one. The staff hooked up with head coach Devin Bush Sr for a satellite camp in Fort Lauderdale and clearly liked what they saw out of his players as they have offered 2016 S Josh Metellus and 2017 WR Clevan Thomas.
Metellus is a hard hitting, playmaking safety that has been committed to Georgia Southern since March but this offer will likely change that. I shared a couple messages with him and he let me know that though he plans on being patient the chance to possibly play with teammates Devin Bush Jr and Devin Gil in college definitely affects his recruitment.
As for Thomas, he is a speedy, playmaking receiver that showed out in front of the coaching staff and landed his 2nd offer of his recruitment (Temple was his first offer). That offer had 247’s Ryan Bartow quickly put in a Crystal Ball prediction for Thomas to Michigan. So, this is clearly a name to keep a very, very close eye on.
