Looking to turn Michigan into Tight End U, the coaching staff has offered top 50 wide receiver/tight end Charlie Woerner out of Tiger, GA (Rabun).
Woerner is one of the most targeted recruits in the country, landing offers from the likes of Alabama, Georgia, Clemson, Florida and Oregon. While he\’s listed wide receiver on some sites, it looks like he\’ll end up as a tight end at the next level (Devin Funchess-type).
His hometown Bulldogs and powerhouse Crimson Tide look to be the early favorites but with Michigan throwing their hat into the ring, there\’s a chance they could become a real factor with Harbaugh at the helm.
