Epenesa is the #2 overall player in the 2017 class thanks to his size and athleticism. He is a dominant defensive end out of the midwest that the staff will recruit heavily moving forward, along with every other staff in the country.
His father is a former Iowa football player and, while the Hawkeyes will be a competitor, I believe the chance to play and develop under Jim Harbaugh will be a real factor in his recruitment.
