Michigan Offers Eight 2016 Defensive Backs

In Harbaugh\’s first class, he was hoping to build the defensive back depth but was only able to bring in two commits (CB Keith Washington and S Tyree Kinnel). So, he\’s turning to the 2016 class to fill the openings and he\’s going after them hard. Since National Signing Day, Michigan has offered eight defensive backs (10 including Wayne Davis and John Broussard), including:

CB Eric Cuffee, 5\’11\’\’ 185lbs. Waco, TX (Waco)

CB James Valdez, 5\’10\’\’ 175lbs. Orangeburg, SC (Orangeburg-Wilkinson)

DB CJ Pollard, 6\’1\’\’ 180lbs. Gardena, CA (Junipero Serra)

DB Cameron Lewis, 6\’2\’\’ 195lbs. Monroe, LA (Wossman)

S Chris Brown, 6\’0\’\’ 183lbs. Houston, TX (Alief Elsik)

S Craig Watts, 6\’0\’\’ 180lbs. Saint Petersburg, FL (Gibbs)

S Calvin Bundage, 6\’3\’\’ 195lbs. Edmond, OK (Santa Fe)

S Marquel Dismuke, 6\’1\’\’ 180lbs. Carson, CA (Compton Dominguez)

Out of the defensive backs offered, Michigan looks to have the best chance at Pollard but pulling anyone out of Serra is tough once they receive a USC offer.
