Michigan Offers DE Josh Brown

Bye weeks are recruiting weeks for every coaching staff and Michigan is no different. And with the week off, the coaches have been busy making waves. The latest swell happened when the staff extended a scholarship offer to 2016 four star Florida State defensive end Josh Brown (Charlotte, NC/Mallard Creek HS).

At 6\’3\’\’ 200lbs, Brown is one of the elite prospects in the 2016 class both talent-wise and physically. Here is what 247Sports\’ Clint Brewster ($) had to say about Brown\’s game:

\”He’s that speed rusher that you want on third down but can also get off blocks in the running game and make a tackle. Very good effort in downfield pursuit. Also plays some linebacker and can fill gaps and get off blocks. Equally as good with his hand on the ground coming off the edge or standing up.\”

According to reports, Brown is committed to FSU but is still open to taking visits. Expect the staff to do their best to get him on campus to show him and his family what the University has to offer.
