Michigan extended an offer to one of the top offensive lineman in the 2017 class, El Cerrito (CA) OL Aaron Banks, and thanks to a close family member, the Wolverines are in good shape early on.
“It was definitely big being that my uncle is a huge Michigan fan and is from there,” Banks said of his latest offer. “No lie he kinda went crazy then he told me he’s taking me on a visit this summer, no if ands or buts about it lol”.
Though some believe he’s destined to stay on the west coast for his college ball, having a huge fan so close to Banks is big for Michigan’s chances. And if they do indeed get him on campus this summer like planned, they could cement themselves among the favorites for his commitment.
