To cap off the weekend, Michigan has extended a scholarship offer to three star 2015 CB Colin Samuel (Long Beach, CA/Long Beach Poly).

At 6\’2.5\’\’, Samuel has the elite size that the Michigan coaching staff craves in their defensive backs. Add in his coverage ability and he\’s a very good fit in the defense.
As for his recruitment, Samuel holds offers from the likes of Boston College, Illinois, Fresno State and Hawaii, so Michigan is by far his biggest offer on the table. And with the Wolverines desperately looking to add another cornerback to the class (have had two decommitments: Garrett Taylor and Shaun Crawford), look for them to put the press on Samuel and their other CB offer, John Kelly.
To make things even better, Samuel is teammates with the #1 CB in 2015, Iman Marshall, and is friends with two other Cali standouts holding Michigan offers. And they were excited about his offer:

Props have to be given to Go Blue Wolverine\’s Sam Webb for saying Samuel was one of the guys who was likely to land an offer and 247Sports\’ Steve Lorenz who was a very big part of Michigan\’s interest in Samuel. Good work, guys!
