Look Who’s Visiting Now: March 22nd

Almost all of Michigan’s big spring visit lists are happening during the weekend. Well, this is one of the other ones as the coaching staff is hosting a nice group of 2017 and 2018 football recruiting visitors, including a top running back out of Massachusetts and a large contingency from Cass Tech.

Cass Tech Crew

According to The Wolverine’s Brandon Brown, Cass Tech head coach and Michigan alum Thomas Wilcher will be bringing a large group of CT recruits to Ann Arbor. That list is expected to consist of 2017 WR Donovan Peoples-Jones and the top 2018 players in the program, including CB Kalon Gervin.

2017 AJ Dillon

Dillon will arrive in Ann Arbor on Monday night and stay through most of Tuesday. I caught up with him to ask him about what he’ll be looking for on his first visit and will have more from him afterwards but this is obviously a visit to watch. A decision is not expected but UM is in his top five and with him being a agile, power back that highly values education and has a good relationship with Don Brown, the Wolverines could be in great shape after the trip.

2018 Dorian Thompson-Robinson

DTR has been in Michigan since Sunday and will visit for three days. I’ll have more from him after his trip and it should be a fun interview as it only took him half of a day to call him UM visit “BY FAR THE MOST ENJOYABLE VISIT THUS FAR”. With his mother being an alum of the University, this early visit and Harbaugh likely looking to add more of a duel threat option to the quarterback depth chart, UM should have a nice step up on the competition by the time he gets home.
