Look Who’s Visiting Now: March 18th-20th

With the biggest recruiting weekend of the spring happening in two weeks, Michigan is expected to host a nice group of 2017 and 2018 visitors this Saturday for spring practices. That list includes two top 2017 targets out of Alabama and a couple 2018 names to remember moving forward.

Check out the entire list of recruiting visitors:

2017 S AJ Harris

First reported by Wolverine247, Harris will make his way up north for his first trip to Michigan. And he’s one to watch moving forward. He’s let me know in the past how interested he is in UM and I’ve even put him in my February BGRC. This visit could go a long way in his recruitment, especially since he’s at a high position of need.

UPDATE: Harris arrived in Ann Arbor on Friday with his parents and will stay there until after practice on Saturday.

2017 DE Labryan Ray

Ray’s visit has yet to be 100% confirmed just yet but, according to his interview with Wolverine247, Ray is expected to make the trip up to Ann Arbor with his friend AJ Harris. Though UM doesn’t look to be in as good of shape for Ray as Harris, this visit could be a game changer and really help Michigan make up ground on (rumored favorite) Alabama.

UPDATE: Ray was unable to make it to Michigan this weekend. He’s at the Opening camp in Atlanta.

2017 LB Pete Werner

Werner, who recently landed his offer from Michigan, told Irish247’s Tom Loy that he’ll be at Michigan on Thursday and Friday. Though UM may have some ground to make up on the top linebacker target thanks to a later offer, a two day visit to Ann Arbor is a good way to start.

2018 RB Jaelen Gill

Gill confirmed with our own Evan Paputa that he’ll be visiting on Saturday. Paputa also picked up from Gill that he’s definitely liking Michigan early on but being a Ohio prospect and a top recruit at that, he’ll be a tough pull whenever he does make his decision. Either way, getting him on campus this early is a win for UM and they’ll likely get a boost in their chances with this trip.

There will be a handful of other recruits that make their way to campus this weekend. So, make sure to stay tuned to MGoFish as we’ll have the latest updates as they come in!
