The matchup against SMU isn’t the biggest on the home schedule for Michigan but the staff is still hosting a huge official recruiting visitor third game of the season. There will be plenty of other visitors on campus but the top safety in the 2019 class is the one to watch closest.

Hill is one of the best safety prospects to come out of high school in years. He’s an elite athlete and the highest priority in this class. This visit has been set up for a while now and is clearly huge Hill. According to TMI’s Sam Webb’s interview with Hill’s parents, this visit “will solidify some things” in his recruitment ($). There have been plenty of rumors about Alabama being the team to beat but plenty of tea leaves are pointing towards Michigan. This visit is obviously huge so a big showing on the field and connections of the field could give the Wolverines a very real chance at winning out here. Expect the red carpet treatment and then some.
