Jalil Irvin Decommits from Michigan

To make it three recruiting losses in two days, 2018 Stephenson (GA) OG Jalil Irvin has decided to take a step back and reevaluate his recruitment by decommitting from Michigan:

Irvin’s decommitment isn’t too much of a surprise. Though he named Michigan his dream school after landing his offer, he’s recently been mentioning his intentions to take visits. Which, you can’t blame him for. As a player going into their junior year of high school, taking their time is the best idea.

As for Michigan, it’s unknown how hard the staff will push to get Irvin back in the fold. With the 2018 class expecting to be a much smaller class than 2016 and 2017, the odds of him rejoining the class look to be slim. Expect the staff to use their limited spots on their top overall targets moving forward.
