Maryland came to town for the homecoming game of the 2018 season. Though the Terps were having a nice year which already included a win over now top 10 Texas, the Wolverines did what they’ve been doing to Maryland pretty much every time they meet, dominate. While the score wasn’t a complete blowout, the yardage definitely was. At one point in the game, Michigan had over 340 yards of total offense while Maryland had under 50. Thanks to big plays from Shea Patterson and his receiving core, as well as a stout defensive performance, Michigan won 42-21 after some garbage time points from the Terps, moving to 5-1 on the season.
