One position that is in dire need of help in Michigan’s 2016 class is at defensive tackle but it looks like they will have a chance at landing not just one, but two, elite DT’s. Everyone knows about the #1 overall player, Rashan Gary‘s interest and now Houston commit, Westside (TX) DT Jordan Elliott is set to officially visit Michigan this fall.
Elliott is one of the top defensive players in the class and a player that the staff looks to be heavily targeting. They saw him up close and personal at the Houston satellite camp in June and now their pursuit is paying off. From the look of things, he is open to flipping if the right situation comes along (he’s already decommitted once; Baylor) With the quick relationship the staff has already put together, I wouldn’t rule out the Wolverines just yet.
