Another camper at the 2013 summer camp, Kinnel is rising fast on the recruiting boards. He is a very instinctive and athletic ball hawk that Mattison seems to love. Look out for him now that he has an offer. Im a really big fan of this kid already. With weight training, he could be a star.

After being offered by Michigan, Newsome has blown up in the recruiting world. Landing offers from most of the top programs in the country, including Alabama, LSU, Miami, and O$U, he chose to go with Michigan thanks to the staff, program, and educational opportunities. With the staff desperately looking for another tackle, his big, physical, nasty style would fit in perfectly.

Cole is the top recruits in Michigan and one of the highest rated players in the country. He has the skill and athleticism to play running back, wide receiver or safety at the next level. In Harbaugh’s time at Stanford, he signed multiple quarterbacks in three of the four years knowing that competition and depth are needed every single position. And he’s bringing that same mentality to Ann Arbor as Texas QB commit Zach Gentry has flipped and committed to Michigan while on his official visit, becoming the 2nd quarterback in the 2015 class and 2nd commit of the Harbaugh-era.

If there was one position that plagued the Brady Hoke era more than any other, it was the offensive line. While the staff recruited some of the best talent in the country, they were not able to develop them. It is one of the main things that Harbaugh and Drevno will have to do to turn Michigan around, and the latest commitment, OT Nolan Ulizio, will give them the chance to really prove that.

The Hawkeye commit was offered on Saturday morning (just 5 days before NSD) and jumped on a plane later that day to visit Ann Arbor. While he originally said he was going to stick with Iowa, a last second visit is what changed everything as he signed with Michigan on National Signing Day.

Washington is one of the best pure athletes in the country and starred at both quarterback and cornerback in high school. But he will move to corner at Michigan and has a chance to be a very good player thanks to his athleticism. His flip to the Wolverines on National Signing Day was a nice surprise for the fan base.

By far the biggest surprise of National Signing Day for Michigan was the commitment of Johnson, who is one of the highest ceiling commits in the class. He has the elite frame and athleticism needed to be a game changer at defensive end, especially after a year or two in the weight room.

DE: Jack Dunaway, 6’3’’ 215lbs. Bloomfield, MI (Brother Rice HS)
The son of former Michigan tight end Craig Dunaway, Jack is a talented prospect that features that motor, will and heart that every coach wants on their roster. While not offered by any division one teams, Dunaway decided to follow his father’s footsteps and decided to join the 2015 Michigan recruiting class as a preferred walk on.
K/P: Ryan Tice, 6’1″ 160lbs. Saline, MI (Saline HS)
Team 136 picked up a preferred walk-on commitment from Saline (MI) K/P specialist Ryan Tice today. He’s a strong legged kicker out of Saline HS that happens to be a member of the Kornblue Kicking Academy.
LB: Chris Terech, 6’2” 225lbs. Saline, MI (Saline)
Terech was one of the best players in the state of Michigan and helped lead Saline to their first state championship appearance in school history after shutting down Mike Weber and Cass Tech in the semi-finals. He is a hard nosed, leader of the defense, “coach on the field” type of a linebacker that was named 2014 DZone Defensive Player of the Year.
OLB: Cheyenn Robinson, 6’3” 233lbs. Jersey City, NJ (St. Peters Prep)
St. Peter’s Prep is one of the premier high school programs in the Northeast and Robertson was one of the top players. He has good size and athleticism, and is able to make plays in both the run and pass game.
LB: John Andrysiak, 6’1” 215lbs. Flint, MI (Powers Catholic)
Andrysiak is the son of former Notre Dame quarterback Terry Andrysiak (85-87) and a standout for FPC. Like most walk-ons, he’ll have to come in and develop to become a contributor moving forward. But the raw talents are there, he just needs more time in the weight room and with the coaches
FB/LB: Tommy Whitted, 6’1” 225lbs. Winter Park, FL (Winter Park)
Whitted is a stout, hard nosed football player that passed up opportunities to walk-on at the two in-state Florida powerhouses to play for Coach Harbaugh and the Wolverines. And he may get the chance to play pretty early for a preferred walk-on as the full back depth chart will be wide open after the 2015 season.
