If you’ve been sleeping under a rock for the past year, Paramus Catholic (NJ) DT Rashan Gary is the #1 high school football player in the country and every single program would like to sign him on National Signing Day. As for something you may not know, Michigan may now be the favorite.
Gary made a bit of a surprise official visit to Ann Arbor this past weekend for one of the most dominant defensive performances in program history and, according to all reports, left even more impressed with the Wolverines than before. How good of a visit was it? Well, it only took a couple days and interviews for 247Sports’ top minds, CEO Shannon Terry and Director of Recruiting Steve Wiltfong, to put in their Crystal Ball Predictions for Gary to Michigan.
Are Crystal Ball predictions 100%? No, ask Wolverine247’s Steve Lorenz all about the feedback he receives if his CB is off base. However, Terry is hitting on 75% of his predictions while Wiltfong is hitting on a balmy 91.6% of his predictions.
Now, those of you who have read my website for awhile know that I have consistently predicted Jim Harbaugh to land his biggest fish in 2016 and this only strengthens my belief that it will in fact happen. Though there’s plenty of time to go in his recruitment, Michigan is clearly sitting pretty with the nation’s top football recruit. So feel free to smile.
