Attrition to both the Michigan football roster and 2016 recruiting class have been expected for quite some time and, while the first couple transfers from the roster came yesterday, the recruiting class saw its first decommitment of the new year as Riverdale Baptist (MD) DB Sir Patrick Scott has announced his plans to leave the class:

Scott committed to Michigan back in August and looked like another nice get for Harbaugh and company.
With his departure, the staff will look at Loyola (CA) CB David Long and Detroit King (MI) CB Lavert Hill to add to the defensive back field.
