Jim Harbaugh and Michigan really upset Wisconsin fans in 2016 when they signed the top player and offensive lineman in the state, Arrowhead (WI) OL Ben Bredeson. It was a tough blow to the Badgers that is still being discussed on UW message boards.
Well, those Badger fans may have some new material to talk about in the near future and it’s a very similar situation.

Michigan hosted Wisconsin’s top player and offensive lineman in the 2017 class, Port Washington (WI) OT Tyler Beach, who happens to have another similarity with Bredeson in the fact that he has a brother in Southeast Michigan as well.
“I went with my parents and my older brother, who lives in Plymouth. We saw the Business school and practice and all the academics. I talked with pretty much all the coaches”, Beach said. “We all loved the campus it was beautiful. The weight room is a little out dated but the facilities are great, I believe they are getting knew ones”.
The connection is there for the family but that’s not where it stops for Tyler. He also has a great relationship with his, possible, future position coach.
“I talked to coach Drevno a good amount and he said he loves me and they are excited about me. He’s such a great guy”, Beach said.
Though Beach said he doesn’t have an exact top list at the moment and more visits planned, including trips to Norhtwestern, Notre Dame and Michigan State, among others, a decision is coming soon.
“I plan on making a decision in April or May, and it’s all about the people and coaches”, said Beach, who is not sure if he’ll be back to Ann Arbor for the Spring Game/Junior Day. Whether or not he makes it back to Michigan’s campus prior to his spring decision, I believe the Wolverines are in good shape here.
