After the nation’s #1 tight end, Isaac Nauta, decommitted from Florida State, Michigan’s top target, Naseir Upshur became the Seminoles top priority and it looks like that could mean bad news for the Wolverine staff. While I believe Upshur and Nauta are still very much in play, a name not to forget is hybrid TE Jacob Mathis. He’ll be officially visiting Ann Arbor this fall:

Mathis is one of the top pass catching tight ends in the country and has a similar playing style to former Michigan stand out and current Carolina Panther Devin Funchess. With the staff looking to bring in at least two tight ends in 2016, he would be a great fit with current tight end commit Sean McKeon.
