In an unsurprising move, Michigan QB Brandon Peters was named the US Army All-American Player of the Week (per Freep’s Mark Snyder) after his fantastic, nationally televised game last week.

Peters and his Avon Orioles took on 2017’s #1 quarterback Hunter Johnson and Brownsburg on ESPNU and the Michigan commit showed off those skills that had every Elite 11 scout raving. He ended up throwing for 335 yards on 20/28 passing and 6 touchdowns while leading his team to a big win and proving to the nation that he’s among the best in the country.
