The commitment train keeps rolling along as the staff gets another addition to the 2020 recruiting class as Our Lady Good Counsel (MD) DL Kris Jenkins has committed to Michigan.

Scouting Report

The son of 10 year NFL veteran, Kris Jenkins Sr., and the nephew of 13 year NFL veteran, Cullen Jenkins, Kris Jr. could be the next longterm NFL standout. He’s not close to the size of his dad and uncle but he’s got the frame to put on the size. A big, long lineman that can play on the outside or inside. He’s a smart pass rusher that uses technique and his strength to get to the quarterback/ball carrier. Anchor end looks to be his starting spot in Ann Arbor but I could see him putting on the necessary weight and moving inside later on in his career.
