And we now have a new candidate for Harbaugh’s “most surprising commitment” of the 2016 (possibly 2017) class as Montreal (Quebec) CB Benjamin St-Juste has committed to Michigan.
#Michigan has picked up a commitment from Montréal (QC) Cégep du Vieux cornerback Benjamin St-Juste (@BenjWolfpack24). Could be 2016 or 2017

Benj Juste, as he’s called, is a long, raw, athletic cornerback that uses his length and strength to bully receivers and blockers in the Great White North. But will it work down in the states? He has the look of a very good, press corner and he obviously has the raw goods that the staff believes they could mold into a productive player in the Maize and Blue.
As for his recruitment, I am learning about Juste at about the same time you are reading this. He was so unknown that Scout’s Allen Trieu had the wrong name for him at the ExposureU camp, where he performed well enough to earn an offer from the staff and land in Trieu’s top 15 campers.

As for the Rest of the Class: It is not known exactly which class he is counting towards because of the difference in schooling in Canada. However, if he’s a 2016 commit, Juste is the 18th addition to the class, the 2nd pure cornerback and the 4th pure defensive back overall. But that shouldn’t be the end to the staff’s pursuit of DBs as multiple big names are still out there, including David Long, CJ Pollard, and Lamar Jackson.
