WIth defensive tackle being one of the biggest needs of future classes, Michigan stepped up to the plate and landed one of the most talented defensive lineman in the country, Utah DT Bryan Mone!
Bryan Mone #54, DT (via FoxSportsNext) |
A big time fan of Michigan from the start of recruiting, Bryan Mone was one of the biggest targets of the coaching staff both figuratively and in stature (6\’4\’\’ 317lbs). He is a former teammate of Michigan FB Sione Houma and went to the same high school as All-Pro DT Haloti Ngata. If the Wolverines can turn Mone into a similar player, he will become a fan favorite, All-American and 1st round draft pick.
As For The Rest Of The Class
Mone fills a huge need at DT/NT and with a class that will not be too large, he should end up being the only NT prospect. However, there are tons of top level defensive line recruits that could end up joining the 4 star commit, including 5* DE Da\’Shawn Hand, 4* DE/DT Malik McDowell and 4* DE Lawrence Marshall.
