Another former Big Ten commit has flipped to the University of Michigan. This time, it was ex-Illinois commit and Michigan pipeline high school Trotwood Madison, CB Reon Dawson!

In the new Michigan defense, defensive coordinator Greg Mattison has his preferences. One of the biggest ones is the size of his cornerbacks. He likes them to be tall, fast, smooth and playmakers. Enter the #26 commit to the Team 134 recruiting class, Reon Dawson.
Reon is 6\’2\’\’, 175lbs. Though he does not have the strength or weight of what he will play at when in the Maize and Blue, Dawson has the height and frame to be the perfect Mattison corner. He is extremely fluid and flips his hips really well.
As for the rest of the class:
With 26 spots taken in the class which is rumored to be able to go all the way up to 29, Michigan has its eyes on the final targets. One spot is saved and possibly already taken (silent commit) by the #1 RB in 2013, Derrick Green. The other spots are up for grabs between 4* TE Durham Smythe, 5* LB Reuben Foster, 2* DB James Crawford (Charles Woodson\’s nephew) and CB Marquis McCullum, as well as possible surprise recruits.
