With the commitment of RB Antonio Williams to Ohio State and RB Matt Falcon receiving a medical scholarship offer from Michigan, things continue to trend towards a decommitment from OSU for RB Kareem Walker and Michigan becoming the favorite.
I was able to speak with my OSU source to see where things stand with Walker’s recruitment and commitment to the Buckeyes, here is what they had to say:
“(OSU) does expect Walker to decommit and things will then be over between the two sides. They’ll stick with Williams and McCall in this class and then take two for 2017. Unless there’s some major coaching changes and some elite kid falls into their lap.”
Like always, take it as you will. Though the source has been pretty on point so far about what’s gone on. So, don’t shoot the messenger. I’m just trying to keep you updated on what I’m hearing.
LATE NIGHT UPDATE: According to the source, there’s another big program in the mix to flip Walker. Recruiting is crazy so it could just be a smoke screen but UM is not the only top option if/when he leaves OSU.
