In need of more game breakers on offense, Michigan has offered RB Rakeem Boyd (Houston, TX/Stratford) and WR Simi Fehoko (Salt Lake City, UT/Brighton).
Boyd is one of the most talented tailbacks in the country. On his tape, e runs with great vision, agility and power, and it had Coach Wheatley so impressed he watched it over and over. In interviews with Wolverine247’s Steve Lorenz and Go Blue Wolverine’s Kyle Bogenschutz, he said that Wheatley watched his film multiple times and had to offer the Lone Star State star. On top of the staff loving his tape, he also goes to the same high school that Harbaugh\’s top pupil, Andrew Luck, attended.
All of that, plus the fact that Michigan is by far his biggest offer (Duke, Boston College, Houston, Colorado State are some of his best), I really like the Wolverines\’ chances here.
Fehoko is a big, athletic receiver that has the ability to make the big catch as well as take the top off of the defense. He has great speed, which is something Michigan really needs on the outside. As for the Wolverine\’s chances, they are right in it with an offer, along with Stanford, Washington and USC (who has yet to offer). Like always, if they get him on campus, things will look much brighter.
