Michigan has extended an offer to one of the top offered guards in 2016, Chris Owens out of Arlington, TX (Lamar).
With Coach Drevno on staff, Michigan is going to get back to a physical running game and Owens would be a great fit. He has the size, athleticism and power to dominate in the run game. And from his reaction, it looks like the Wolverines may have a real shot at landing him.
Though he\’s only a three star on 247Sports, he holds offers from the likes of Alabama, Auburn, Oklahoma and TCU.
