Home run hitting playmakers are something that Michigan and every other college football program is looking to add to their roster. And though he may not hold a ton of offers, UM may have offered one of the most explosive players in their new pipeline state, New Jersey, on Friday in Cedar Creek (NJ) ATH Bo Melton.

Melton was teammates with current Michigan freshmen WR Ahmir Mitchell in high school and looks to be a top target for the staff moving forward thanks to a dominant junior season. He has the ability to play multiple positions at the next level thanks to his speed, athleticism and agility.
I was able to share a couple quick messages with Melton after landing his offer and like you may have guessed, he let me know this was a “really big” offer for his recruitment. Thanks to the connections to the program and the need for more dynamic players on the roster, I believe he’s a legit option to join the class as he fits a similar role as Chris Evans in the 2016 class.
