Michigan is set to host two of the top quarterbacks in the country for the 2017 Spring Game on April 15th. But, at the moment, UM trails for both QB Dorian Thompson-Robinson (UCLA) and QB Joe Milton (Florida). And though there’s a good chance Michigan is a favorite for at least one of them after the visit, the staff has decided to extend another quarterback offer.
This one was to Hamilton (AZ) QB Tyler Shough.
Just got off the phone with Coach Harbaugh! Extremely excited and blessed to receive my 12th offer from the University of Michigan!! 〽️ pic.twitter.com/oax7jTAJlU

Shough is the #16 pro-style quartertback in the class, according to the 247Sports Composite rankings. He’s a tall, lanky, athletic quarterback that is a little raw but has a live arm. And Michigan may have a fantastic chance at landing him as, according to his interview with 247Sports’ Steve Wiltfong, he grew up a big fan of the Wolverines ($).
This will be an interesting recruitment to watch. Michigan is right in the thick of things for Thompson-Robinson and could make a big move during the upcoming visit for Milton. Will the staff hold off on Shough? He also told Steve Wiltfong that he’ll try to make it up for a visit during the summer. By that time, both DTR and Milton will likely be off the board. That visit, whether it happens or not, should tell us pretty much everything.
