Though Jim Harbaugh and the Michigan football program is hosting their 2016 Coaching Clinic, the staff will also be hosting a small but nice group of visitors this weekend as well. That list includes a 2017 tight end to watch closely, the top player in Wisconsin as well as two 2018 recruits to remember.
Check out who’ll be visiting Ann Arbor this weekend:

2017 TE Trey Pugh
Pugh confirmed with me that he’ll be visiting Ann Arbor for the first time on Saturday. “I’ve never been, so just seeing what the campus, program, and coaches are all about”, Pugh said. Coming up from Ohio, most think he’s headed to Ohio State but they have yet to offer and Michigan’s tight end usage could be a big factor here.
2017 OT Tyler Beach
Beach tweeted out a picture of himself donning the Maize and Blue during his visit to Ann Arbor on Friday. Beach is the top player out of the state of Wisconsin and looks to be pretty high up Michigan’s board. The staff will look to bring in the Badger state’s top player in back to back years (2016 OL Ben Bredeson).
2018 LB Antwuan Jackson and DE/TE Leonard Taylor
According to Wolverine247, the Springfield, OH teammates will be checking out Michigan’s practice on Saturday. Like Pugh, being from Ohio means OSU is the expected landing spot for both though getting them to Ann Arbor early on should help Michigan out.
There could be some more players making their way to campus. Make sure to stay tuned to MGoFish by subscribing to the email newsletter in the right side bar now!
