Don Brown’s defense had some question marks after the season-opening loss to Notre Dame but since then, the defense has taken care of business. While the opponents weren’t the greatest, the stars have stepped up. Devin Bush, Rashan Gary, Chase Winovich and Josh Metellus especially. And those same players put on a show against Nebraska. The starters held the Huskers to three points for the majority of the game and that field goal didn’t even come until midway through the third quarter and Scott Frost officially waved the white flag by kicking a field goal over going for it down 46-0.
