The Michigan defense flexed its muscles against the Terrapins, only allowing 220 yards from Maryland, most of which was gained when the 3rd stringers were in the game. Despite the DL taking a hit to its depth, Michigan held strong and showed some great linebacker play, solid plays from the Viper Khaleke Hudson, and the DBs continued to impress in pass coverage. It was a team effort that held Maryland to just 43 yards in total in the first half and led Michigan to a 42-21 victory.
