Look Who’s Visiting Now: September 26th vs BYU

The 2015 football season is in full swing and Team 136 is ready to face their biggest home challenge of the year as BYU (2-1) comes to town. However, that is not the only things fan will be keeping their eyes on. The staff is expecting one of their best recruiting visit lists of the year, which includes two big time official visitors who were included in my September Best Guess Recruiting Class:

Official

OLB Carlo Kemp

Kemp will be making his 2nd trip to Ann Arbor since the start of August and it could be a huge visit. From sources close to the situation, there’s a good chance he ends up choosing Michigan and was close during his last trip. But will it happen during this trip? I doubt it since he still has an OV planned to Notre Dame in October but either way, I believe he ends up in the class.

DT Rashan Gary

First reported by Rivals’ Adam Friedman, the #1 player in the class and on the board will be in Ann Arbor for the third time this year, but this one is the biggest. As an official visit, the staff will not only be paying for the trip but will also be able to really lay out the red carpet for Gary and his mother. If you’re hoping for a quick decision, you might want to let that dream go even though I believe he still ends up choosing Michigan in the end.

Unofficial

2016 RB Kingston Davis and LB Dytarious Johnson

In a pretty rare occurrence, the Prattville commits will be making a long distance unofficial trip up to Ann Arbor for the game. This is a good sign for Davis as there have been a couple questions about how solid his commitment is with the SEC powers continuing to recruit him.

2016 LB David Reese

The Farmington star is making his third consecutive visit and is starting to become a leader of the class. Look for him to continue to recruit the top guys on campus at each game.

2017 OLB Corey Malone-Hatcher

Malone-Hatcher is one of the top junior targets on the board and will be making his first visit of the season. I still believe Michigan is the favorite right now and will be throughout. This should be another feather in the cap of the Wolverines as he will get his first in-person look at DJ Durkin’s defense, specifically, the play of the BUCK linebackers.

2017 RB Kurt Taylor

The top running back target is making his makeup unofficial visit after having some travel issues and missing his trip to the Oregon State game. He is another visitor that I believe Michigan leads for and has a great shot to sign, though Georgia could be a big challenger.

2017 WR Mac Hippenhammer

According to The Michigan Insider’s Brice Marich, Hippenhammer and his fantastic name will be making their way to Ann Arbor and it could be a pretty big one. He told Marich that Michigan is in his top five, which means this visit could be a bit of a game changer if it goes off really well.

2017 TE Keegan Cossou

The big, talented, in-state tight end will be making a trip to Ann Arbor and is definitely a name to keep an eye on. While the staff is going after several top ranked tight ends to pair with TE commit Carter Dunaway, Cossou is a player that could end up seeing an offer down the road. Especially if the staff is planning on taking more than two tight ends.

2018 QB Allan Walters

Walters is the top 2018 quarterback target and is planning on making his first return visit to Michigan since landing his offer over the summer. Though the Wolverines are his leader, I doubt he makes a decision during his trip, though at the same time, I wouldn’t completely rule it out.

2018 OT Antwan Reed

According to Scout’s Allen Trieu, Reed could be one of the top in-state recruits in the class and will be making the trip from Muskegon to Ann Arbor. At only 14 and already standing at 6’7” 275lbs, he is a name to watch closely.

There will be plenty of other visitors that make last minute visits to the game. So, make sure to follow @MGoFish, @EJenkIII and @TheMatterbater on Twitter so you don’t miss a thing.
