The Michigan football team finally gets back on the field after a long week of stewing in the loss to Notre Dame. But with game day here, the team and most of the fan base can move on. The staff has obviously moved on as well as it has more than just the game to worry about this week as they’ll welcome their first group of game-day official visitors of the season. And though there isn’t an elite list of visitors expected for the home opener, they have a couple intriguing names coming to town.
Check out which 2019 official visitors are visiting Michigan for the 2018 Western Michigan game:
WR Jaylen Ellis
The Baylor commit has been flirting with Michigan for quite some time. And now he’ll have his chance to finally see what the program is all about in person this weekend. This is a very interesting visit to watch. Michigan is clearly looking to add at least one more receiver to this class and has early playing time available. If the staff can sell Ellis on playing up north, I wouldn’t be surprised to see some very positive reports coming out for the Wolverines.
DL Mike MorrisĀ
Morris is a well-known name on the recruiting trail by now. Another visitor committed elsewhere, the Florida State commit has looked like a Michigan leanĀ for a minute now. The Crystal Balls have swayed completely towards the Maize and Blue. Could this be the weekend a flip happens? Spots have to be getting tight as the finish line isn’t close but is in sight. This is definitely a visit to watch.
There will also be plenty of other 2019, 2020 and 2021 visitors on campus for this game. Michigan shouldn’t have too much of a problem putting on a show for everyone watching. Could they be celebrating a win on the field and on the recruiting trail this weekend? I wouldn’t be that surprised.
