Rutgers comes to town this weekend and though there won’t be a huge recruiting visitors list on hand, there will be some heavy hitters on campus. Three official visitors along with several unofficial visitors and committed prospects.
Officials
CB Shyheim Carter
Per Scout’s Chad Simmons, Carter will be officially visiting Michigan this weekend. While the odds of him of ending him up as a Wolverine are low his visit will continue to paint UM in a very positive light in SEC country with the other top recruits.
DT Chris Daniels
Per The Michigan Insider’s Sam Webb, Daniels will be on hand this weekend as well. He not only is one of the top defensive tackles on the board but he also has several ties to Michigan, which makes him a real option for this class. However, according to sources, he looks to be favoring Oklahoma so this visit is pretty huge for UM’s chances.
TE Sean McKeon
Per The Wolverine’s Tim Sullivan, the Michigan tight end commit will be making his way up to Ann Arbor for his official visit this weekend. This will be his first trip to his future school since his mid summer visit that resulted in a commitment.
Unofficials
2016 K Quinn Nordin
Nordin let me know that he probably will be making another trip to Ann Arbor for the game this weekend. If he does indeed make it to town, it only hypes up his possible flip even more.
2016 ATH Tru Wilson
Wilson let me know that he will be visiting Michigan tomorrow. This is definitely interesting to see and could be something to keep an eye on.
2017 LB Josh Ross
Per The Wolverine’s Tim Sullivan, the top inside linebacker on the board for Michigan will be making yet another visit to Michigan. Like with any of his visits, I wouldn’t be shocked by a commitment.
2018 OL/DL Marquan McCall
McCall let me know that he thinks he’ll be attending the game this weekend but wasn’t exactly sure. If he does, it only helps Michigan out more in their recruitment of one of the best sophomores in the state.
2018 LS Roen McCullough
His dad let me know that Reon will be making a visit to Ann Arbor for the game. He’s the #4 long snapper in the class and, how about this, his brother is freshmen LS on scholarship for Ohio State. Though that shouldn’t affect his decision.
Commits
2016 OT Erik Swenson
The first commit let me know that he will be at the game. Like always, he’ll likely have his recruiting hat on to help Michigan reel in some more big time recruits.
2016 ATH Simeon Smith
Smith is one of the newest commit to the class. Though a preferred walk-on, Smith is a nice get and he’ll get to see his future home for the first time since making it official on Saturday.
2017 TE Carter Dunaway
Per The Wolverine’s Tim Sullivan, the first 2017 commit will also be making his way to Ann Arbor for the game.
