Though Mother Nature didn’t want to lend a helping hand, Michigan is still hosting a very nice group of official and unofficial recruiting visitors this weekend in mid-April. That includes some of the top players and targets in the country, two of which are the #1 and #3 ranked players in Ohio, on the same day as the Ohio State spring game (which was played because it’s possible for Ann Arbor and Columbus to have different weather on the same day, Albert). That’s clearly a huge, and much needed win for the Wolverines there.
Could a commitment come out of the weekend as well? According to TMI’s Sam Webb, it’s not out of the realm of possibility ($).

There are several names on that list that I believe Michigan could end up making a big move for this weekend. The Crystal Balls have already started coming in for Te’Cory Couch to flip from Tennessee while Karsen Barnhart has been trending towards the Wolverines for quite sometime. Zach Harrison is obviously tough to call this early but his decision to head to Ann Arbor and not Columbus during the competing Spring Game weekends is pretty big. Xavier Truss is also a name to watch with Michigan badly in need of offensive tackles and him being from the same school as DE Kwity Paye.
Other names I think UM will make a move with are Luke Deal, Kyle Hamilton, John Dunmore and Keontra Smith (committed to Kentucky), and continue to get back into the race with Justin Rogers, who also went to Michigan over favorite OSU.
Michigan is also hosting a bunch of the 2018 signees, including Julius Welschof, Jalen Mayfield, Mustapha Muhammad and Christian Turner.
