Latest Team 133 Recruiting Rumors

With all of this craziness going on in Michigan recruiting, you would think that it was the week before signing day. Now where do I begin……

– 4 Star CB Armani Reeves is getting interest from Michigan coaches again and has said that he wants to visit and will put Michigan in his top 3 for his decision. Now, I do not know exactly why the coaches are all over him again but my guess would be just in case CB Terry Richardson bails on his commitment OR they are looking to move CB Standifer to S OR S Allen Gant could be moved to WR to fill one of those holes.

– 4 Star CB Yuri Wright has expressed his interest in Michigan, saying that he \”loves Michigan\” and has always wanted to play at Michigan and is looking to visit soon. This is one of the most interesting stories because Wright is one of the top 5 corner backs in this class, regardless of website. I could see Hoke accepting his commitment just because of talent level.

-5 Star DT Tommy Schutt said that he liked Michigan and was looking to visit soon. Heres the problem, Michigan coaches have told Schutt not to visit which has to mean one thing, that they expect a commitment(s) from DT Ondre Pipkins and/or DT Danny O\’Brien. Im thinking both might commitment this month to wrap up the D-Line recruiting.

– 5 Star RB Brionte Dunn and his cousin, top 2013 prospect, ATH Dymonte Thomas were in Ann Arbor for a talk radio segment where they talked about their recruiting and commitments. They also made a pact that they would go to the same school. Now this looks bad since Dunn is committed to O$U at the moment. BUT the great thing for Michigan is that Dymonte Thomas has listed Michigan as his out right leader and Brionte Dunn has visited Ann Arbor a couple times and talked about how much he loved it. Now, all we have to wait for is the O$U sanctions. These two could be all time greats in the Maize and Blue.

With all of this information, its hard to really say what could go down. So, I have put together a best guess of the last 5-6 recruits below:

1. 4 Star DT Ondre Pipkins – Obvious choice. This guy will be our Haloti Ngata of the Michigan defense.

2. 4 Star DT Danny O\’Brien – Another great player and playmaker, O\’Brien could be an All-American.

3. 5 Star RB Brionte Dunn – With O$U\’s sanctions coming, Dunn should walk and come right to AA.

4. 4 Star WR Monty Madris or Amara Darboh – They need a playmaking WR and either of these guys give the Wolverines just that.

5. 5 Star OT Jordan Diamond – He has been visiting all over the country, but I think Michigan is his leader and will land him sooner or later.

6. (If we get a de-commitment) 4 Star CB Yuri Wright or 4 Star CB Armani Reeves – Not a need, but with T-Rich looking around, the coaches may bring in Wright and/or Reeves for a visit to scare Richardson or take them because they are that good.
