Look Who’s Visiting Now: September 18th vs UNLV

Michigan (1-1) welcomes UNLV (0-2) to Ann Arbor in, what should be, their easiest contest of the 2015 season. However, that doesn’t mean the visitor list will be a laid back one. The staff will be hosting two top out of state targets on official visits and a couple unofficial visitors to watch on the 2016 and 2017 board:

Official

OLB Caleb Kelly

Kelly is arguably the #1 BUCK linebacker on the staff’s board and a name that I’ve included on the BGRC’s in the past. However, at the moment, things don’t look as promising as before. The staff may need to pull out all the stops to eventually land California’s top player. I’m not too optimistic that will happen, as you can see on my latest Best Guess Recruiting Class.

DT Keyshon Camp

The USC commit is a name to watch closely. According to Wolverine247’s Steve Lorenz, he’s a top target for the staff and they’re “going to make a strong run at him” ($). While it’ll be tough to flip him, Michigan is said to have a chance. So, keep an eye on Camp throughout this visit.

Unofficial

2016 LB commit David Reese

The linebacker commit is making his 2nd visit in consecutive weeks and should be at just about every game he’s invited to from here on out.

2016 ATH Armani Posey

The Detroit King standout has been a name that most Detroit/Michigan recruiting people have known for quite awhile. However, he never really saw much interest from anyone for reasons I do not know. But that has changed. The Michigan defensive coaching staff personally invited him on this visit and though they’re recruiting him as an athlete, they could see him as a perfect fit as a safety or possibly even grow into a BUCK linebacker in their defense.

2017 TE Jimmy Jaggers

Jaggers is one of the top tight end targets for Jay Harbaugh and the rest of the Michigan staff, and happens to already be making his 2nd visit to Ann Arbor. I doubt a decision is made this early in his recruitment but Michigan could definitely take a nice lead in his recruitment with a great visit.

2017 ATH Antjuan Simmons

Simmons has been a consistent visitor for the coaches thanks to playing across the street at Ann Arbor Pioneer. And now he makes another visit and is a name to watch. He’s a great athlete with size and could play either running back or linebacker in college. I’ve had him on my BGRC before and still believe he’s a legit option to get an offer and be a member of this class.

2017 ATH Jordan Nwougu

Simmons let me know that his teammate, Jordan Nwougu, would be making the trip with him as the staff is looking to get to know him and wants to see his junior tape. It’ll be interesting to see what happens here but you now at least know he’s being looked at by Michigan.
