Top Defensive Target Erroll Thompson to Decide this Week

While most Michigan fans are focusing on Devin Bush Jr, Dontavious Jackson, Caleb Kelly and Jonathan Jones to fill the remaining linebacker spots in the class, but a name to watch closely is Florence (AL) LB/DE Erroll Thompson.

Thompson is a tough, hard nosed linebacker that hits like a ton of bricks and happens to have the size and athleticism to play both linebacker and defensive end. Add in Wolverine247’s Steve Lorenz saying that his parents prefer Michigan ($) and you can see why Michigan is highly interested.

He was expected to visit for the BBQ at the Big House on Sunday, August 2nd so the plan to commit two days before that visit isn’t the best look in the world for Michigan’s chances. This should be very interesting, so make sure to stay tuned.
